Chicken Run & Turkey Trot: Thursday, Nov 21
The annual Chicken Run for grades TK-1 and Turkey Trot for grades 2-5 will happen on Thursday, November 21. Students will compete to determine the fastest boy and girl runner for each grade. The top runners from each classroom will move on to the final, grade-level round. Grades Tk-1 will run at Longfellow from 10:00-11:00 am, Grades 3-5 will run at Hughes from 9:45-11:00 am. Parents who would like to come out to cheer on the student runners are welcome. Longfellow will be hosting an AFTER-SCHOOL costume parade coordinated by our fabulous rec aides (coachies).
