Longfellow PTA will have many positions on our Executive Board that will be open for the 2019-2020 school year and we would love to have you join our team. Below are the available positions and very brief descriptions.
Executive VP (supports PTA president, possibly considering president role in the future)
VP Ways & Means (fundraising, Third Thursday)
VP Communications (emails, website, flyers)
VP Room Parent (liaison between PTA, teachers, room parents)
VP Membership (creates membership goal and incentives)
Recording Secretary (attends all meetings, takes notes and transcribes minutes)
Treasurer (authorized custodian of all funds, manages books, records, and reports)
Financial Secretary (manages deposits and receipts )
Auditor (typically performs audit 2x's per year)
Parliamentarian (attends meetings and advises on procedures/bylaws)
Meet the Masters Co-chair (assist in organizing MTM materials, helps with workshops)
