The Longfellow PTA Read-At-Home Program is collecting books for students who may wish to have a book to read over Winter break.  Do you have any new or gently used - age appropriate books to recycle? Then you can help! We are collecting Kindergarten to Grade 8 reading level books. Students have an opportunity to be featured on the Clippers Read to Achieve website and receive a Clippers prize pack, which includes Clipper gear, books and school supplies. FROM LBUSD: Please see the  School Re-enrollment  article posted on LBUSD. The selection is made in ParentVue under the School of Choice tab.  A couple of things to note: - Selections (online only, hybrid, in-person only) need to be completed by August 14th - At the bottom of the selection form, there are two additional questions about: 1) your student needing a technical device during distance learning, and 2) your student needing internet access; - Selections are only for the 2020-2021 school year. Thank you to everyone who was able to participate in our Scholastic Fall Book Fair! The fair is now closed. We raised $900 for our Read At Home (RAH) program that ensures each Longfellow student receives at least one book to take home. Hopefully more if funds allow.
