May is Bike Safety Month! Biking to school (or anywhere) is a great way to travel in an environmentally friendly way. Green Team reminds all our bikers to wear a helmet, follow the rules of the road, be courteous to neighbors, and always look for cars! We also want to remind drivers to check the bike lanes before parking, turning, and opening your doors. Students can earn a green deed ticket by sending a photo of safe biking and emailing it to greenteam@lblongfellowpta.org.
